long-term objectives
1. main objective is to improve and to develop the transport infrastructure along the corr.3 by:
* strategic trans-national co-ordination and harmonisation of economic development, transport policies and planning activities under consideration of european development aspects.
2. project will give practical support to implementation of trans-national strategy on local and regional level.
special attention will be paid to regions which are intersections with other transport corridors.
* an information and qualification network of relevant actors will be initialised which enables all actors to plan and to build transport infrastructure according to needs of economic development and to fulfil sustainability and efficiency criteria for use of erdf-finances for this purposes

- common methodology for the assessment of development and harmonisation potentials for economic and transport infrastructure in corr.3,
- regional assessment groups and reports about status and development perspectives of infrastructure in corr.3 ,
- transnational development strategy for corr.3 and its synergies with other corridors and related regional development scenarios for implementation of the transnational strategy,
- supporting tools for involved actors along the corridor for sustainable development of transport systems in corr.3 and effective use of erdf-finances for infrastructure development
- initialisation of networks of regional and international actors, exchange of experience
- prior development projects and investments for the corridor identified, supporting measures for successful implementation agreed,
- connection of steering committee of corr.3 with implementing actors at national and regional level, advisory board for the secretariat of corr.3 from regional actors

- methodology for assessment of development and harmonisation potentials for economic and transport infrastructure
- 1 regional assessment group, report about status and perspectives of corridor-relevant economic and transport infrastructure in the ukraine, more direct connection of national/regional development with european development needs,
- creation/use of commonly created supporting tools for involved actors for sustainable transport systems in corr.3, exchange of know-how with other actors in the corr.
- ukrainian actors and experts involved in european networks and project conferences
- trans-national development strategy for corr.3 and harmonised regional development scenarios, increased effectiveness of regional infrastructure development measures
- regional strategy conference in ua and creation of regional network for transport infrastructure in corr.3

in the operation 8 regions are involved.
- eu,- national and regional/local authorities and policy makers, decision makers and actors, involved in strategic planning and implementation of regional economic and transport infrastructure systems
- enterprises, located / intending to invest in the regions and/or benefiting from good accessibility and traffic flow in/through the regions; business supporting organisations, like sme associations, networks, consultancies engaged with initialisation of international business co-operation
- citizens, using means of private and public transportation as an important indicator for quality of life and indirectly benefiting from a favourable investment climate and economic perspectives of the regions

overview on project activities (eu partners)
- current status and the perspectives of the economic and transport infrastructure in all corridor-regions will be assessed.
- assessment methodology will be created by an international expert group.
- the analysis work will be done by regional working groups, which will be organised by pps.
- set up of development objectives for the overall corridor and the regions with a clear corridor minded approach and under consideration of the regional interests and specifics. this will be done by a trans-national and by regional working groups, where additional actors will be attracted to.
- results of working groups will be discussed at trans-national meetings and conferences and will be presented to decision makers of all relevant policy levels.
- the further regional and transnational implementation will be supported with tools, training and networking measures.

- participate at all scheduled technical and partner meetings, conferences and trainings,
- send experts to international working/expert group
- be involved in methodology development and organise a regional assessment group in lviv/ivano-frankivska regions, formulate an assessment report
- hold a regional strategy conference and develop a regional development scenario for economic and related transport infrastructure in their region,
- send regional actors to the training event of the operation and provide all interested people with the tools, which have been developed by the operation

at 1 stage
- methodology for assessment of economic and transport infrastructure will be developed. involved partners will be provided with the method and with guidelines, how to apply it.
at 2 stage
- the assessment will be carried out by 8 reg. working groups. trans-national assessment group will synthesise the reg. analysis and will assess the harmonisation needs in corr.3. 1 single reporting document will be delivered.
- operation will organise 1 intern. and 8 reg. strategy conferences. strategy building will be organise at regional . and transnational level.
- regional groups develop scenarios for implementation of the strategy, transnational group focus at harmonisation potentials and prior development needs in corr.3.
- implementation will be supported by provision of tools for sustainable development of transport infrastructure and an international training for involved actors.
- final conference will report about project results and will enlarge the network.
