Round table "Integration of cultural, art and sporting events in the tourist offer of the region"
The round table "Integration of cultural, art and sporting events in the tourist offer of the region" was taken place on the 30 November, 2011 in Ivano-Frankivsk, in the framework of the project “Harmonization of Tourism Development in Rural Areas of the Carpathian Region” by the participants of the representatives of the local authorities, cultural, artistic and sporting facilities, tourist organizations of the Ivano-Frankivsk region.
The purpose of the round table is the need to integrate cultural and ethnic characteristics of the tourist offer of the region that will attract a wide range of community representatives to work in tourism and promote the preservation of local identity, culture and traditions.
Before the round table participants spoke Deputy head of the Main Department for Tourism, European Integration, External Relations and Investments of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration - Nataliya Gasyuk, Head of the Department for Culture - Volodymyr Fedorak, First Deputy head of the Department for Family, Youth and Sports of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration - Mychailo Martsynkiv and Vice-chairman of the Board of the Association of Economic Development of Ivano-Frankivsk- Mariya Kovaliv.
Participants of the round table were able to review the realization of the project “Harmonization of Tourism Development in Rural Areas of the Carpathian Region”, to discuss the proposals for development of the Carpathian Culture & Arts Events Calendar.
At the round table it was provided the conditions for establishing an open dialogue between its participants, identifying problems, finding ways to solve them.
