August, 2025 The fourth expert group meeting of the project “Improve the visibility of the joint cultural heritage through Carpathian Cultural Route” On August 5, 2025, the fourth expert group meeting was held in Ivano-Frankivsk under the project “Improve the visibility of the joint cultural heritage through Carpathian Cultural Route”, which is implemented by the Development Centre for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises Maramures (Romania) in the partnership with the NGO “Association of Economic Development of Ivano-Frankivsk (AEDIF)” and Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas (Ukraine) in the framework of the Interreg VI-A NEXT Hungary-Slovakia-Romania-Ukraine Programme. The project is co-financed by the European Union. The expert group considered the issues of conducting a sociological survey of visitors to cultural and historical objects in Ivano-Frankivsk and Zakarpattia regions, selecting cultural and historical objects in Ivano-Frankivsk and Zakarpattia regions to be included in the enlargement of the Carpathian Cultural Route, updating the Concept of the Carpathian Cultural Route, updating the marketing strategy and developing a 5-year plan for promoting the Carpathian Cultural Route brand. Liudmyla Arkhypova – Professor of the Department of Ecology of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, Project Manager, presented the results on a sociological survey of visitors to cultural and historical objects in Ivano-Frankivsk and Zakarpattia regions. Volodymyr Burdeniuk – Project Coordinator of the NGO “Association of Economic Development of Ivano-Frankivsk (AEDIF)”, secretary of the expert group, reported on the selection of cultural and historical objects in Ivano-Frankivsk and Zakarpattia regions to be included in the enlargement of the Carpathian Cultural Route. Mariya Kovaliv – Vice-chairman of the NGO “Association of Economic Development of Ivano-Frankivsk (AEDIF)”, Project Manager, Deputy Head of the Expert Group informed the members of the expert group about the implementation of the project's tasks to update the Concept of the Carpathian Cultural Route and expand the network of stakeholders that forms the basis of the Carpathian Cultural Route. Iryna Kinash – Head of the Department of Management and Administration of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, Marketing Expert presented an updated marketing strategy and a 5-year brand promotion plan for the Carpathian Cultural Route. The discussion of sociological surveys, selection of cultural and historical objects of Ivano-Frankivsk and Zakarpattia regions, the Concept of the Carpathian Cultural Route, brand and marketing strategy of the Carpathian Cultural Route, was attended by: Vitaliy Perederko – Deputy Head of Department - Head of the Tourism Department of the European Integration of Communities and Tourism Department of the International Cooperation and European Integration of Communities of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration, Chairman of the Expert Group, Mariya Kovaliv – Vice-chairman of the NGO “Association of Economic Development of Ivano-Frankivsk (AEDIF)”, Project Manager, Deputy Head of the Expert Group, Volodymyr Burdeniuk – Project Coordinator of the NGO “Association of Economic Development of Ivano-Frankivsk (AEDIF)”, secretary of the expert group, Liudmyla Arkhypova – Professor of the Department of Ecology of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, Project Manager, Iryna Kinash – Head of the Department of Management and Administration of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, Marketing Expert, Yaroslav Adamenko – Head of the Department of Ecology of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Oleg Mandryk – Professor of the Department of Ecology of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Project Manager for Communications, Lydia Kvasnyuk – Deputy Director for Educational Work of the Kosiv Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts, Halyna Bednarchyk – Acting Director of the Ivano-Frankivsk Museum of Local Lore, Roman Shevchyk – local development and business expert, Viktor Kuzmyn – member of the Board of the public organization "Research and consulting center of business, marketing and law". As a result of the discussion and by decision of the project expert group members, it was decided to supplement the Carpathian Cultural Route network with the following objects: 1. Museum of the History of the City of Kolomyia. 2. Center of Hutsul Crafts "Kylymarka" in Kosiv. 3. Interactive Museum of Chivalry in Nadvirna. 4. Ethnographic Museum of Boykivshchyna and Museum of the History of the Underground UGCC in Fitkiv. 5. Museum of Molfarism in Yaremche. 6. Ecotourism Visitor Center of the Carpathian National Nature Park in Yaremche. 7. Center of the Hutsul Horse "Hutsulyk" of the National Nature Park "Hutsulshchyna". Overall objective of the Project is to improve the visibility of the existing Carpathian Cultural Route as an instrument aimed to support the valorisation of the cultural and historical heritage in the Carpathian Euroregion. Specific objectives are: to enlarge the integrated cultural heritage product “Carpathian Cultural Route” that connect places of historical and cultural heritage with other attractions and services; to improve the skills and knowledge of cultural tourism representatives through the training and sharing experience program; to improve the visibility of the integrated cultural heritage product “Carpathian Cultural Route” at the regional and international level through the development of digital promotional materials, joint online information sources and mobile application.
